Evidence supporting individualization and interactions to support brain development is mounting!

New research out of Carnegie Mellon University suggests that individualization is critical to autism intervention due to the finding that brain patterns of individuals with autism are uniquely indvidualistic compared to the 'comformist' brains of individuals without autism.  The story suggests that this may be due to the disruption in interactions within the environment.  This is yet another study illustrating that focusing on brain development, through individualized interactions within the context of a relationship can actually change brain functioning.
