On April 7th, I will be teaming up with the City of Fort Lauderdale, South Side Cultural Arts Center, and local professionals in the autism community to host, ‘Connect and Play Day: An Autism Acceptance Celebration!’
As many of you know, April is autism awareness month. It is a month to celebrate the families, children, and adults with autism in our community. It is also a great opportunity to bring our community together: To connect and to play. With this event, the goal is to go beyond awareness of autism and to promote acceptance in a way that is fun, playful, and fully inclusive.
We will have BOUNCE HOUSES, PETTING ZOO, TRACKLESS TRAINS, FACE PAINTERS, A RESOURCE FAIR, AND MORE!!
The event will be the first of its kind in east Fort Lauderdale and to make this groundbreaking event truly fantastic, we need you there! Feel free to share this fantastic and FREE Event to any and all who may be interested. A link to the FB Event can be found HERE.
